The Clinton Properties are two, mixed-use buildings located on Clinton Street in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Both buildings were constructed in the early 1900s and contain a total of 3 commercial tenants and 33 residential apartments; 30 one bedroom units, 1 two bedroom units and 2 three bedroom units. Margules Properties acquired one property in 2000 and the other in 1998.

During the mid 19th century, the Lower East Side was the epicenter of America’s bourgeoning garment and textile business and is home to many historically important and architecturally significant structures. Over the past decade the neighborhood has experienced a cultural regeneration and is currently one of the most dynamic and important neighborhoods in Manhattan.

Today the Lower East Side is home to an array of important restaurants, retailers, hotels and residences. Clinton Street represents a unique destination for dining and nightlife in New York, with several important restaurants, including Clinton Street Baking Co. and WD-50. The neighborhood continues to see positive economic growth and investment which continually benefit the Clinton Properties.
